Gulio's tattoo and 22, Nürnberg x 2, and Thanksgiving too!

Wednesday, November 30, 2005

For Gulio's 22nd birthday he decided a tattoo was in order, I went with him for moral support and to photo-document the occasion. The experience provided me with a reason why I don't want to get one.

The first snow of the season started when we took a trip to Nürnberg for the first time. Electricity was in the air, and I feel like I'm finally going to be able to experience a winter. We went on a Sunday and there was not much to do except ride the U-Bahn and drink Glühwien. The Weinachtsmarkt opened the next weekend so we decided a return trip was in order.

Since this would be our first Thanksgiving away from home for most of the Thanksgiving!Americans, we decided to get together and make it feel a little bit more like home. Although most of the time we weren't really sure what we were doing, everything turned out to be quite delicious. Mary has an excellent writeup along with some great photos. Check them out, and just to clarify: Team Bacon wears hats.

That weekend almost all of the exchange students went to the opening of the Weihnachtsmarkt in Nürnberg. It was fun and crowded, so we spent most of the day alternating between Glühwein in the Weihnachtsmarkt and coffee.

Hello there "mr. Im always late for class!!!"
Looks like its high time that you updated again!!!
Currently I am not very pleased with your website as I have noticed that there is no general note page!! You know, just a general place where you can write little notes! The note must be written under your little topics such as "snow" and "Guilios tatoo" and so on! I am very mad!!!!!(as in angry!) So, make some changes like a good chap! And yes! I will say it again: I do my shopping in bits!!! Its both Tiresome and time consuming but sure there you go! Whats are Lidls for!!!??
Well Ill leave ya alone! Talk soon as usual, from me!!!
Ps. Bet your brain feels a little bit swelled since you found out that little bit of interesting factual info about my name! Gaelic Rocks!!!! as do Batchelors baked beans and barrys tea!! Yum yum!!!!
