Good weather for air strikes

The concert was hosted in an actual concert hall called the Kulturpalast, and it looked like they were more acclimated to showing concerts and plays than shows. Although Wes and my seats were near the back of the highest balcony, we still had a great view of everything that was going on. Sigur Rós went to great lengths to match their stage presence with their music, and anyone fimiliar with their work knows that is no small feat.
The next day we wandered around Dresden taking pictures of everything we could. Although we didn't go inside we visited the recently reopened Frauenkirche. We also visited an art gallery where various works depicting the city were on display. As most people fimiliar with the history of World War II, or the works of Kurt Vonnegut already know the city was completely destroyed by American bombers in what was one of the more questionable decisions of the war in which an estimated 25,000 were killed. Much of the cityscape of Dresden is still chared giving it an eerie ambiance. All in all the trip was fun and profitable, with the Schönes Wochenende ticket (costing only 30 Euros split between the two of us or 15 euros per person) and the youth hostel (costing 16 Euros per person) we were able to keep our expenses down.

edit: Wesley just uploaded his pictures from the Sigur Ros part of the performance. Check them out!

Hello,
I enjoyed the link you sent today to enhance the Thanksgiving photo album. I was also very glad to see you had a warm hat. Once a mother...always a mother. Not sure why you wore it during the meal. Glad the Thanksgiving was a success - did anyone eat the corn? I saw at least 2 sets of hands in the mix. Yuk. Luv, Mom
