CLIP is over, so I have the rest of my summer to speak english and prepare for Bamberg. I've been playing with flickr (beta), so any feedback would be appreciated.

Ein Elefant Für Dich

This Thursday, Ama and Johannes gave a radio show in honor of our CLIP class. Each member of the class had a song played for them, and my song was "Ein Elefant Für Dich" by Wir Sind Helden off of their album Von Hier an Blind. Unfortunately I can't find anywhere to buy the CD in the United States (Amazon.com doesn't have it, and I can't even find it on eBay!), regardless below is the text of the song and my English translation of the song. If you feel I have mistranslated please feel free to leave me a comment.

CLIP Charleston

This summer I'm taking a German language intensive course (CLIP - Clemson Language Intensive Program). For the course we took a trip to Charleston. It was Great.

Friday I went to see The Willowz play at redux. I had never heard of the Willowz before, but apparantly they had a song on the soundtrack for "Eternal Sunshine for the Spotless Mind." Never the less, they put on quite a good show.

Saturday I woke up early and ran the last race over the cooper river bridges. I was more exausted than I should have been, but I really enjoyed it. After the race our group took a German tour of Charleston (that is a tour of Charleston done entirely in German), and then we went to the beach to relax.
