22nd year of existance

My birthday was rather uneventful. May 9th was Senior Walk, where the seniors of Clemson all purchase "Senior Walk" T-Shirts and get drink deals at all the bars in downtown Clemson. Ryan and I went by at noon to pick up my shirt and to inquire as to whether they had any additional shirts (because Ryan was too lazy to register in advance). They didn't, so we went downtown and took advantage of the deals on food. We hung out at Peppinos and played a game of pool that lasted much longer than it should have because are both terrible at pool. Then we went to the pool and got a bit sunburnt. Later we met Louise and Sarah at Backstreets where we played some more pool which lasted a bit longer than it should have because we are all terrible at pool. Although I'm not graduating, I still senior walked my way to success!

The 10th, I woke up and went for a run to flush the toxins out of my body. Once I was sufficiently exhausted I drove to Columbia and met David for a bit of Sushi. When Mike finally returned from Charlotte with PJ, David and I met the two of them at the New Brookland Tavern. Although we were too late to see the opening band, The Twelve Tribes, we did catch all of Dead to Fall. They were a decent band, and able to get the crowd riled up (they had a nice circle pit going for a while). Up next was the band that PJ came from Charlotte to see, Extol. Extol is a Norwegian christcore band (Christian hardcore) and although I personally wasn't really that thrilled about them, they did put on a good show. Haste the Day performed last, and although PJ criticizes them as being generic hardcore, I rather enjoyed them.

After the show the four of us went to Jillians, a pool hall, to play a little pool. The game lasted longer than it should have because the four of us are all terrible at pool. After the pool game we feasted on the nectar of the [fallen] gods, where one of the servers tried to pick up Mike... yuck, and then took PJ back to Charlotte.

Here you can find some pictures of the aftermath, which I took with my camera phone.
